Nick and his friends are heading for Arkansas. His car pulled out of the driveway around 9:45 this morning after hugs and words of thanks, appreciation and advise to "...work hard over the next two weeks to finish strong!" were shared. Brian's first text from Nick arrived at 10:10 asking him to text directions to Jonesboro so the route he needed to follow would be clear, and then next came about an hour later announcing they were on Rt. 57, heading south. (Thank goodness they are heading south because there have been numerous times the car was going in the wrong direction!) As Brian and I wait for the next update, our thoughts will be preoccupied with their journey as we never rest until we know they are all safe and sound.
