our wine of the weekend....

Brian and I have decided to buy at least one new wine on the weekend to experience, so you can now look forward to a post called  "Our Wine of the Weekend".  This may or may not turn out to be one of "Brian and Susan's Favorite Wines".  I just don't know, but I think this really sounds fun,  so...

Clos Du Bois
2007 / Zinfandel
North Coast

This Zinfandel was a rich, deep burgundy color with a lovely aroma. You could spell pepper and cinnamon along with fruit.  On the label it reads, "This bold, full-bodied Zinfandel exhibits aromas of ripe raspberry and strawberry with nicely layered characters of black plum, pepper and cinnamon."  It was a lovely wine to sip  before dinner as we listened to some relaxing music and talked. Enjoy, as we would highly recommend you trying this wine.
