Congratulations to all of the Chicago Marathon runners! I was sorry to have missed the amazing race this year, but Sarah was there for awhile giving me some play-by-play commentaries. Of course, emotion swept through her as she watched all of the incredible athletes begin their life-long endeavor; running 26.2 miles. There is nothing more inspirational than witnessing people running after training for a year. They are determined, inspired, pumped, and filled with emotions. The runners smile, search the crowds for their loved ones, and work to do what they have dreamed; cross the finish live. My praise and pride goes out to all who raced, whether or not you finished. You are real, committed people who are like no others! (...and a special "Job well done!" to Jay, Veronica, Sarah's hair stylist and two office friends.)
