I cannot believe Nick's tonsils are out. On Wednesday, Nick came to me saying his tonsils hurt again and we made an appointment with the best ENT ever for Thursday at 8:30. After a quick look and getting some answers to questions, Dr. Hampson told us that he could give Nick meds, but he would get sick again soon, and that the best option was to have Nick get his tonsils taken out. Then, listen to this, after asking Nick when he was going back to school, it was going to be tomorrow, and when school started, he literally squeezed us into his Friday schedule and it is over. Who says there are not compassionate, caring doctors out there because this man was amazing to a young person who thinks of school, sports, and working out.
